Caroleigh Robinson, a mixed-media artist, examines the literal, ecological and psychological aspects of the contemporary landscape in our "petroleum age" and interstate highway culture. Her work is strongly motivated by observation and interest regarding the abstracted politic of the automobile and the signature pattern(s) of tiretracks as a marker of human presence on the land.
Her work has appeared in international exhibitions and on the covers of environmental policy law books.
